The role
Our client is looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join their busy Supply Chain team in Wakefield. This is a varied role where you'll support international shipments, coordinate deliveries, liaise with overseas suppliers and freight forwarders, and help ensure products reach customers on time.
What you'll be doing:
* Coordinating import shipments from overseas suppliers and factories
* Managing shipping documentation and shipment records
* Liaising with freight forwarders and internal departments
* Processing invoices, payments, and customer dispatches
* Booking deliveries and updating internal systems
* Supporting stock control and year-end stock takes
What we're looking for:
* Strong Excel skills
* Good working knowledge of Word and Outlook
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
