An automotive company, well established in its field, is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide phone, email, and Teams support for the maintenance of Petrol/Diesel Fuel Injection test equipment. Hydrogen Fuel testing equipment is upcoming.
You will be eligible for an uncapped yearly bonus, which last year was paid at 18%, dependent on personal and company performance. You will also be enrolled in a highly attractive pension scheme. The role is Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 1:30 pm on Friday.
We're seeking someone who is ideally an ex-maintenance or field engineer and now looking for a desk-based role. Responsibilities include fault finding, guiding technicians through complex diagnostics to achieve quick resolutions. A strong electronics background with some mechanical understanding is required. Good customer service skills are essential, as you will communicate with customers via telephone, video call, live chat, and email.
You will work within a small, skilled team comprising three customer support technicians, a field service technician, and the customer support manager. Some on-call work will be required, for which you will be compensated additionally.
