Key Responsibilities:
1. Organise and manage the library to meet the needs of students and staff.
2. Prepare short- and medium-term plans for the library and be responsible for their implementation.
3. Manage the library's annual budget.
4. Ensure resources are up to date and correctly catalogued.
5. Carry out annual stocktakes, ensure resources are in good condition, purchase new resources, and monitor their use.
6. Develop the library as a whole school resource, extending activities and involving students and staff.
7. This is a permanent part-time role of 13 hours per week over 2 days, for 39 weeks per year.

Salary:£25,183 upon appointment (Grade 4 Scale Point 9), with potential to rise to £26,409 (Point 12).
