Change & Resource Manager 2 Years Fixed-Term Contract Starting Salary: c. £70,000 Depending on skills and experience Location: Norwich, Sheffield, Eastleigh, York and Bristol with 50% office attendance This is a great job for someone who is passionate about building high-performing teams and ensuring organisations have the right talent in place to deliver critical outcomes. A bit about the job As a Change & Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation has the resource needed to successfully deliver a major transformation portfolio. You'll own the CIO resource strategy, leading end-to-end workforce planning, resource forecasting, and capability development across change disciplines. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide a single, trusted view of resource demand and supply, enabling informed decisions about prioritisation, investment and delivery risk. You'll optimise resource deployment across a complex portfolio (circa £250m investment and ~700 FTE), ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget and to the right quality. Skills and experience we're looking for: Proven resource and workforce planning expertise Experience managing capacity, capability, and demand across large-scale programmes or transformation portfolios. Strong data analysis and forecasting capability Ability to interpret complex data, build forecasts, and provide actionable insights to inform strategic decisions. Senior stakeholder management and influencing skills Confidence working with and advising senior leaders, translating data into clear recommendations and driving alignment. Experience with resource management tools and reporting Strong knowledge of tools such as Planview (or similar), with the ability to create meaningful dashboards and ensure data accuracy. Strategic thinking with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Ability to anticipate future, identify risks, optimise resource allocation, and continuously improve ways of working.
