As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping and inspiring individuals to maintain their tenancies, build independence, and achieve their personal goals. You'll work closely with each person to create a personalised support plan—empowering them to develop practical skills, manage finances, and access work, leisure, or education opportunities.
Every day will be different. You'll work both independently and as part of a supportive team, providing person‑centred support that makes a genuine difference.
What You'll Do
* Work alongside residents to create personalised support plans that reflect their goals, strengths and aspirations.
* Support people in developing everyday living skills, including budgeting, cooking, and managing their home.
* Encourage engagement in work, training, volunteering, or leisure activities that promote confidence and wellbeing.
* Offer emotional support and guidance, empowering people to make their own decisions and overcome challenges.
* Help individuals maintain their tenancies and access other community‑based support services.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for those you support.
What You'll Need
* Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Be flexible to work on a weekly rota, including weekends.
* Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car.
* Candidates with an understanding of mental health issues or lived experience are particularly welcome.
