Orbital Recruitment are looking for highly motivated Skilled Fitters operatives to join our client in Derby.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out refurbishment work on Rolling Stock.
Long Term Contracts possibility of Permanent work
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Replacing worn and corroded parts on Rolling Stock
* Must possess the following types of skills stripping down corroded areas, fitting and assembling
* Carry out work in a professional and safe manner
* Must be to flexible to working both on and offsite
* Must have engineering awareness
About you:
* Ideally Apprenticeship/NVQ trained
* Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically High level of attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Experience of rolling stock vehicle and component repairs would be advantageous
Salary:
* £16 -£17p/h PAYE
* OT x1.33 P/H UPTO 42 HR
* OT x 1.5 P/H OVER 42 HRS

Hours/Contract:
* 7.30am – 4.30pm Mon – Friday
Please be aware flexibility is required regarding working hours
