Operations Manager
Take charge of operations and lead continuous improvement across a precision manufacturing site. This role offers clear ownership of operational performance, team development and strategic delivery within a manufacturing environment.
What you will need
• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, MRP systems and manufacturing processes.
• Experience delivering cost savings and process improvements.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
What you will be doing
Lead manufacturing and operations teams to meet key performance targets.
Manage production planning, scheduling and resource allocation to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction.
Oversee recruitment, performance management and succession planning.
Manage budgets, variances and capital expenditure requests.
Champion health, safety and environmental compliance.
Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures and quality systems.
Your experience
HNC, HND, degree or equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing or related field.
Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels.
Highly analytical with strong PC literacy including Excel and databases.
Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on leadership style with proactive attitude.
