Job Description
Job Summary:
This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting complex technical solutions, focusing on network and systems infrastructure. The position requires deep technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration with various teams to ensure system availability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement technical solutions aligned with business needs.
* Manage and support network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.), including lifecycle management, upgrades, and incident response.
* Oversee critical changes and ensure infrastructure efficiency.
* Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Support teams.
* Ensure system availability, performance, and security.
* Align technology solutions with business strategies.
* Coordinate upgrades with vendors and internal teams.
Must have:
* Strong Palo Alto experience, including Prisma Access / Prisma Cloud solutions
* Expertise in BGP – hands-on experience with design, deployment, and troubleshooting
* Experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP
* Strong routing and switching skills
* VXLAN & EVPN experience (or SDN alternatives like Cisco ACI or VMware NSX)
* Knowledge of IPSEC, DHCP, DNS
* Solid experience with Juniper switches and routers (Cisco acceptable for strong candidates)
* Experience with load balancing – HAProxy preferred; F5, A10, Kemp are also suitable
Nice to have:
* Exposure to Kentik, Netbox, or Portnox
* Scripting and familiarity with tools such as Git, VS Code, Docker, Terraform
