Job Description
We are recruiting for a Housing Officer to work within the Aberdeen Housing Team. The role involves providing a varied and comprehensive Housing Management Service to customers, including allocations, anti‑social behaviour management and general tenancy management. You will be part of a small Housing Team and will have regular contact with staff from various parts of the business, handling approximately 800 properties across the City and Aberdeenshire.
Qualifications
- Qualified to Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Level 4 Certificate in Housing (SCQF Level 7)
- Experience and knowledge of the statutory and voluntary Housing sectors, including relevant and current Housing legislation.
- Able to demonstrate planning and organisational skills, working independently and prioritising workloads to meet targets.
- Experience of identifying change and initiating improvements to enhance performance.
