Overview
Cardiff and Vale College is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Computing. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering programming, preferably Python and C++, Web Development, and AI (machine learning and data visualisation) subjects relating to the compulsory education sector and HE.
Responsibilities
* Deliver lesson preparation, classroom teaching, tutorial work and marking.
* Conduct learner assessments, monitor progress and identify learning support needs.
* Provide appropriate learner support, meeting academic and welfare needs, ensuring information is recorded on the College systems.
* Participate in course evaluation activities and contribute to curriculum development.
* Involve in marketing activities, identifying consumer requirements, creating publicity materials and working with external agencies when necessary.
Qualifications
* Hold an appropriate degree.
* Have relevant industrial experience.
* Hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards obtaining one.
