We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 drivers for a leading global transport client based in Reading.
Competitive Pay Rates:
* Monday to Friday: £15.50 per hour
* Overtime (after 8 hours): £23.25 per hour
* Saturday: £23.25 per hour
* Sunday: £31 per hour
Role Details:
* Deliver home and garden furniture to customer premises
* Drivers will be accompanied by a driver's mate
* Operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle (may be 7.5t on certain days) in a safe and efficient manner
Typical shift:
* 07:00 - 16:00 (times may vary up to 11am start)
* Weekend work required Key
Responsibilities:
* Up to 15 deliveries per day
* Handling heavy lifting
* Handball included
* Collaborating with a driver's mate to ensure safe delivery of products
Requirements:
* Valid C license (with no more than 6 points)
* In-date CPC and Digi card
* Strong work ethic
* Excellent customer service skills
