About The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef for our Papa John’s kitchen. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef, you will support the running of the kitchen and lead a team of up to 10, ensuring guests remain the central focus of all operational decisions.
Responsibilities
* Support kitchen operations, including resource planning and recruitment to build a high‑performing team.
* Develop and implement continuous improvement action plans that enhance the guest experience.
* Deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking to standard specifications.
* Maintain food hygiene standards and health & safety compliance, in line with legislation and company policies.
* Manage margins, control costs, and oversee all health, safety and hygiene related duties.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Food Safety qualification (ROC or AROC preferred).
* Experience in a similar level role, ideally in a fast‑paced and busy kitchen environment.
* Confident leadership skills with a track record of delivering high standards.
* Hard‑working, reliable, solution‑oriented and passionate about providing exceptional experience.
