On behalf of Computershare, we are looking for a Business & Reporting Analyst for a 5 month day rate contract based in Edinburgh, hybrid (3 days onsite). Join us as a Business & Reporting Analyst The Business & Reporting Analyst will support the delivery of data driven insights and project outcomes across two key areas: reporting enhancements and Active Directory (AD) Cleanup project activities. The role focuses on improving Power BI dashboards and processes while contributing to project delivery through backlog management, analysis, and stakeholder engagement. This is a 5-month contract role, working closely with Planning & Engagement and project teams. Your key responsibilities will include: Develop, maintain, and enhance monthly Power BI dashboards and reporting packs Analyse, validate, and manage data to ensure accuracy across reporting systems Support AD Cleanup project activities including backlog analysis, maintenance, and sprint planning Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to track progress and deliverables Manage and update work items and backlog using Azure DevOps Provide project reporting, documentation, and change management support Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Ensure reporting timelines, quality standards, and service levels are consistently met What you will bring to the role: Experience ideally gained in the finance sector, preferably regulated Experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or a similar role Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Excel, and data analysis techniques Experience with Azure DevOps or similar backlog/workflow management tools Exposure to technical change environments (e.g. Active Directory, IT, or Cyber Security) is desirable Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proactive, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities A collaborative approach with strong relationship-building skills Next steps Computershare are dedicated to providing you with the opportunity to succeed on your own merits, starting from the application process.
