Hours: 1 x Full-Time. 35.75 hours per week.
Grade 3: £23, - £24, per annum (with possible progression to £26,).

Queen Margaret University Sport & Fitness is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer focused individual to join their team. The facilities include a fitness suite and weights room, exercise studio, outdoor all-weather pitch and sports hall. The successful applicant will be required to supervise the use of all areas of the centre, carry out gym inductions and programmes, set up equipment, deliver exercise classes, provide excellent customer service and reception duties.
You will have a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification (or equivalent), the ability to lead group exercise classes and a First Aid at Work certificate. The ability to work in a team within a customer service focused environment is essential for the role. You should be adaptable, flexible and be able to use your own initiative. Previous experience in a similar position, a Level 3 Personal Training qualification, the ability to instruct specialised exercise classes (for example, indoor cycling, yoga etc.) and sports coaching experience would be desirable for the role. Shifts will include working evenings and weekends.
