Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Workshop Controller. In this role you are a key influencer who will work closely with both the Service Reception and Parts Teams. Become part of what is already a fantastic journey. The possibilities are endless.
Responsibilities
* Accounting for and managing Technician time when working on jobs.
* Ensuring job card write‑up compliance with regards to OEM Warranty Procedures.
* Managing and improving workshop productivity and efficiency by allocating the correct jobs to the correctly skilled technician.
* Identifying Technician training needs.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience within a service department in the motor industry.
* An excellent understanding of systems and processes operated within this environment.
* A strong knowledge of Health and Safety.
* Confident with dealing with people at all levels and able to build immediate rapport.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Comfortable in negotiating and influencing situations.
* Lead by example to deliver an outstanding customer experience every time.
