We are looking for a committed and passionate Duty Manager to join our growing business. You will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement for the time that you manage shifts.
Responsibilities
* Maximise profit:
o Have a clear focus on delivering great availability for your customers.
o Play an active role in your store to “sell a £1 & save a £1” to help drive sales.
o Deliver on all agreed actions set for you by your line manager.
* Engage, develop & retain great people:
o Proactively support and work with the Talking Shop Rep in your store.
o Support team engagement in your store.
o Play a part in creating an inclusive culture where everyone can be their best.
o Take a proactive approach to personal development and share your own knowledge to support up-skilling the team.
* Doing the right processes and doing them right:
o Complete any actions set for you by your line manager on the back of the daily floor walk focusing on what the customer sees.
o A positive approach to service, both in store and at the doorstep always aiming to be the best place to shop.
o Follow and implement all cash handling and security policies & processes.
o Play your part in providing the best digital service through implementing all “One Best Way” processes.

Qualifications
* Required skills & experience:
* Experience in a retail management or supervisory role ideal but not essential.
* Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
* Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
* Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
* Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.
* Must have Retail Experience.
