Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist with experience in acute and neuro settings. The role involves providing specialist assessments and interventions to patients with neurological conditions and acute care needs, supporting their recovery and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
* Deliver rehabilitation interventions for patients with neurological conditions.
* Support early discharge planning and work within multidisciplinary teams.
* Educate patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation strategies.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development.
Requirements:
* HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* Minimum 6 months NHS experience in acute and neuro settings.
* Strong assessment and rehabilitation skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
