We are seeking qualified 'Registered' Counsellors to join our Urban team in Dorset.
The urban team covers Poole, Bournemouth, and Christchurch.
Available positions:
* Poole: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
* Bournemouth West: Part-time, 22.5 hours/week (3 days)
Interviews will be held face-to-face at Gravel Hill, Canford Magna, Wimborne, Dorset.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, experienced, and qualified individuals to join a motivated and professional team. Successful candidates will be expected to train in NICE-approved counselling modalities, including IPT, DIT, PCE-CfD, or CTfD, in line with service needs, following a 6-month probation.
Minimum requirements by band:
* Band 5: Recognised Diploma in Counselling, 'Registered' with BACP, working towards Accreditation
* Band 6: BACP Accreditation
* Band 7: BACP Accreditation and qualification in one of the NICE-approved modalities
Responsibilities include providing counselling via digital, telephone, face-to-face, and occasional home visits, facilitating groups online or in person, and maintaining excellent administrative, IT, and communication skills. Flexibility to work one evening per week is required.
Experience in NHS mental health settings or NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT) is highly desirable. Please ensure you meet the specific job description and person specification for your banding before applying.
