As Restaurant Director, you will take full ownership of the guest journey, leading a highly skilled team and ensuring service standards reflect the prestige of the operation. This role requires a confident, polished hospitality leader with a strong restaurant management background and an excellent understanding of wine, capable of inspiring the team whilst maintaining the warmth and personality that defines truly memorable dining.
Restaurant Director Ideal Profile:
A proven background in high-end restaurant management within fine dining environments
Strong wine knowledge with the ability to confidently guide guests and support the sommelier team
A natural leader who motivates, mentors and develops front of house professionals
Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, payroll and performance targets
Calm, composed and solutions-focused under pressure
Restaurant Director Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the entire front of house operation ensuring impeccable service standards
Work closely with the senior kitchen team to deliver a seamless and cohesive dining experience
Drive team performance through training, coaching and structured development
Maintain and elevate wine service standards, supporting pairings and guest recommendations
Manage rotas, staffing levels and departmental costs in line with business objectives
Ensure compliance with all operational policies and hospitality best practice
