We are looking for a Security Officer to join us at our client site in London. The site is an international business school, which has students from across the world. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the security requirements of the client whilst maintaining a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism through adherence to directions from the security management team.

A typical day in the life as a Security Officer:
* Display an outstanding level of customer focus and understand the reasons for it.
* Enforce access and egress procedures stated in Assignment Instructions in a polite but assertive manner.
* Report instances of property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged and vandalised.
* Carry out routine tests of security equipment as directed by Reliance Supervisory staff.
* Perform locking and unlocking duties. Ensure keys are handled in accordance with procedures laid down in the Assignment Instructions.
* Respond to requests for assistance.
* Raise the profile of security ensuring that customers are well informed at all times of procedures and processes.
* To undertake any other tasks as identified by the Security Operations Manager and Head of Risk and Security or Client is for the good and benefit of the service to the customer.
* Carry out external and internal fire and security patrols as per Assignment Instructions or management/client request.
* Operate radios, pagers, clocking equipment and any other physical security equipment used on site.
* Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions when required.

* DS SIA Licence
* Deliver excellent customer service with basic IT skills
* Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability

* Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public.
