Responsibilities
* Be responsible for continuing professional development, actively participating in supervision, peer support and training and development programmes.
* Manage a caseload including prioritisation and delegation of work to therapy assistants, perform patient assessments and make clinical judgements about patients’ needs.
* Develop, implement, evaluate and modify patient treatment programmes, ensuring relevant care pathways are followed in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team with onward referrals as appropriate.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, complying with Trust policies and procedures and upholding statutory, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and HCPC standards and codes of professional conduct.

Essential qualifications and registration
* Member of HCPC
* BSc/Diploma/MSc Physiotherapy
Desirable
* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
Essential experience, knowledge & skills
* Broad range of experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level including managing respiratory, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions
* Good written communication skills
* Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Evidence of CPD
* Understanding of professional standards and code of conduct
* Ability to travel to different geographical locations across the Trust footprint in line with service needs
* Aware of and committed to equality and valuing diversity
* Demonstrates clinical reasoning skills across respiratory, neurological, musculoskeletal and discharge planning
Desirable
* Undergraduate experience in both hospital and community NHS settings
* Full UK driving licence with willingness to use own car for work
