NMC registered nurse with relevant post‑registration experience, desirable but not essential
The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP90,000 per annum. This amazing position is a permanent full‑time role working 40 hours a week from 9am to 5pm.
As The Home Manager Your Key Responsibilities Include
* To manage staff and resources so that each resident can enjoy a dignified and fulfilling life.
* Work closely with the Clinical Lead and the wider healthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of service and care consistently meets high standards and those of external regulators.
* Report to the regional Operations Manager, create and lead a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the home’s journey to outstanding.
* Whilst managing people and processes, be a Home Manager in a complex, influential, and highly rewarding role involving close liaison with residents, their families, professional contacts and multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred and Beneficial Skills and Experience
* Previous experience of managing a nursing home.
* Good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards and ability to work toward achieving Outstanding.
* Good communication skills and ability to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, both internally and externally with professionals, families and visitors.
* A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home.
* Enthusiasm and passion for developing a high level of person‑centred care.
* Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.
