Responsibilities
* Perform general and deep cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sanitising, and mopping
* Take responsibility for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across diverse client locations, ensuring all areas meet or exceed industry standards.
* Play a vital role in creating safe and healthy environments, especially within schools where cleanliness supports the wellbeing and focus of students and staff alike.
* Follow detailed cleaning schedules and site-specific procedures tailored to each environment, adapting your approach based on the unique needs of schools, offices, or residential properties.
* Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively, adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices to protect yourself and others.
* Identify and report any maintenance issues, potential hazards, or areas requiring extra attention, contributing to a safe and well-maintained workplace.
* Work both independently and collaboratively with the wider cleaning team to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Demonstrate professionalism and respect when representing Mathoe Cleaning Service Ltd on client premises, building trust and positive relationships with site managers and staff.
* Support the continuous improvement of cleaning standards by providing feedback and suggestions based on your on-site experience.
Qualifications
* No formal qualifications needed, but references will be required to confirm reliability, punctuality, and past performance.
* Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential-training provided
* 1 year Hospitality experience required
* Attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthiness are essential.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required
* A valid driving license is a plus but not essential
* DBS check will be required for school sites
