We are looking for a highly professional Night Manager to join our Front Desk team at The Barnsdale, Rutland.
Our 46-bedroom hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland
landscape with a picturesque courtyard, with a kitchen brigade providing fine
dining using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in
the locality. Encircled by idyllic surroundings on the north shore of Rutland Water,
the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, close to the charming market towns of
Oakham and Uppingham.

You will:
* Complete administration duties including producing an evening report on a daily basis.
* Provide limited food and drinks service to resident guests after hours.
* Check in any late arrivals and keep all Front of House areas clean and tidy.
* Ensure the hotel is locked up and all is safe and secure.
* Be the responsible out of hours contact and enforce fire safety procedures.
* Liaise with emergency services where necessary.
* Set up breakfast for the hotel guests.
* Maintain a professional and high-quality service environment at all times.
* Act as manager on duty for the hotel in absence of other senior managers, deal with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and any other issues.
* Show initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
* Monitoring and maintaining safety compliance standards to adhere to current legislation
