As a member of our close-knit UX Design & development team, you will champion the value of User-Centred Design and development as part of delivery best practice across all digital products and services. In our team you will learn how to: Build high quality prototypes which are clear, easy to understand, and accessible Understand client standards & guidelines as well as having awareness of industry best practice to produce high-quality front-end experiences to meet user needs Make sure your prototypes and front-end interactions are accurate by working closely with Domain Experts As a Front End Developer you will: Collaborate with other teams and specialisms, like UX Designers, User Researchers, Developers, Dev Ops, Product, Delivery Report on and present your work, both internally and to client partners Work closely with our UX & Design Team and as part of a Development Team to share knowledge, learn new skills, and design & develop transformational services The following skills and experience are essential for this role: Relevant experience as a Front-End Developer or similar field You have good written and verbal communication skills Experience working with design libraries, design patterns, style guides and coding standards You have worked as part of an Agile Scrum team You can address the needs of key stakeholders whilst crafting a user-centric design & high quality UX experiences Experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS Experience of design & prototyping tools Set yourself apart: Experience of Development Best Practices, Coding Standards, Unit Testing, using Version Control to handle code, Continuous Integration pipelines, working with Cloud Development Platforms.
