Overview
To assist with the management of the ward on a day to day basis by supporting and acting on behalf the ward manager. To be aware and demonstrate practice based on current advances in nursing. Work in conjunction with other disciplines in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. To promote evidence based practise and act as an accountable role model and clinical expertise. We are currently seeking to recruit highly motivated Registered Nurses to work within ward 4/4 NevillHall Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the management of the ward on a day to day basis by supporting and acting on behalf of the ward manager.
* Remain aware of and demonstrate practice based on current advances in nursing.
* Work in conjunction with other disciplines in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
* Promote evidence based practise and act as an accountable role model and clinical expertise.
* Commitment to providing excellent, quality care to patients as part of a welcoming, supportive and friendly team.
* Participate in a full shift system including nights and weekends; roles may include 12 hour shifts or a three shift system depending on area.
* Contribute to innovative ways of working to enhance patient experience and support the wellbeing of patients and staff.
* Be flexible in order to provide high standards of care seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration.
* Highly motivated with the ability to work within a ward environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
* Flexible approach to shift patterns, including nights and weekends, with experience of 12 hour or three shift systems where applicable.
* The ability to work in a Welsh and/or English environment; the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
