Position
As a Catastrophic Injury Associate, you will manage a diverse caseload of complex liability and high-value injury claims, including catastrophic and serious injury matters. You will advise clients on liability, quantum, and coverage issues, providing commercially focused and technically robust guidance throughout the lifecycle of each case.
Your responsibilities will include drafting pleadings, witness statements, and detailed reports, as well as liaising directly with clients, counsel, and medical or technical experts. You will play an active role in shaping case strategy, participating in negotiations, and contributing to settlement discussions to achieve commercially sound outcomes.
The role will also involve supporting partners on larger or strategically important matters, ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with client expectations and service level agreements. You will be expected to maintain high technical standards, manage risk effectively, and contribute positively to the wider team environment.
