At Praxis Group, we’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to work directly with operational and senior stakeholders across the group, helping shape the financial strategy of a diverse portfolio that includes real estate, facilities management, and construction. This is a true business-facing role, ideal for someone commercially astute and confident working in a standalone capacity within a lean, high-performing finance team.
You’ll be responsible for partnering with the three companies within our Group (Praxis Facilities Management and Praxis Real Estate and Task), providing financial insight, challenging assumptions, and supporting operational teams to make informed, data-led decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary finance contact for designated Group businesses and budget holders
* Build strong working relationships with operational leaders to ensure financial plans align with business priorities
* Take full ownership of month-end processes, ensuring management accounts are accurate, insightful, and delivered on time
* Analyse financial performance by site, property, or project to ensure profitability and identify areas for improvement
* Own the budgeting and forecasting cycle for your partnered teams, supporting with data and insight while driving accountability
* Deliver clear, jargon-free financial analysis and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders
* Understand and challenge the cost base to identify efficiency opportunities and support commercial decision-making
* Improve and refine internal reporting processes and templates for better business performance tracking
* Monitor risks and opportunities across the business units and support proactive decision-making
* Support cash flow forecasting and help interpret the balance sheet impact of operational decisions
* Work closely with the wider finance team to support strategic planning and ad-hoc project work

What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with at least 2+ years post-qualified experience
* Strong background in commercial finance, management accounting, and finance business partnering
* Proven experience working with operational teams and influencing decisions
* Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
* Able to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
* Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision
* Personable with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Someone excited by the opportunity to work in a growing business and a lean finance team
* Naturally curious, commercially minded, and comfortable asking questions – we want someone who is hungry to get out there and investigate things!
* Experience in a small or medium-sized business or a standalone finance role would be a strong advantage
* Experience with Sage Intact is advantageous but not required
