Overview
In your new role as a Cleaner Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under your own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
Must Have Retail / Commercial Cleaning Experience and MUST BE ABLE TO PASS ENHANCED DBS / VETTING CHECKS
Work pattern: Early AM or Late PM cleaning, Monday to Friday. 7.5 hours per week. Pay rate £15.00 per hour. 1hr 30mins per day. Position Type: Permanent; Contract Type: Part time. Location: 2 Causeway Lane, Matlock, Derbyshire, England, DE4 3AR; Nationwide postings may apply.
Responsibilities
* Ensure cleaning equipment and chemicals are used safely and in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
* Perform cleaning tasks to meet designated SLAs and maintain clean, safe premises.
* Attend training as required and work effectively within a team or on own initiative.
* Develop positive relationships with customers and provide excellent service with a proactive approach to improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
* Must have Retail / Commercial Cleaning Experience (desirable but not essential).
* Able to communicate and read basic English.
* Flexible, open, honest, self-driven and reliable with a professional attitude.
* Able to pass enhanced DBS / vetting checks.
