About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially astute Residential Surveyor to join our growing team. This is a key role for an experienced professional with a strong track record in the UK residential property market who is looking to take ownership of a varied and high-quality portfolio of work.
You will conduct a full range of residential surveys and valuations, deliver expert consultancy advice, and play an active role in strengthening client relationships and supporting the strategic growth of our surveying practice.

Key Responsibilities
● Undertake a range of residential surveys, including RICS Level 2 Homebuyer Reports, RICS Level 3 Building Surveys, and Red Book Valuations with a consistently high standard of accuracy and professional judgement.
● Provide expert advice and tailored consultancy services to clients across both the public and private sectors.
● Produce high-quality, compliant reports and valuations independently, and act as a point of escalation on more complex or sensitive cases.
● Manage and prioritise your own workload efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional client service.
● Cultivate and grow strong relationships with existing and new clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ambassador for the business.
● Contribute to the development of new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and identifying client needs.
● Stay informed of changes to legislation, industry standards, and market trends, applying this knowledge to enhance client advice and service delivery.
● Support and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Person SpecificationEssential Qualifications
● RICS Qualified (or equivalent experience).
● MRICS qualified (or working towards final assessment with substantial experience).
Essential Experience & Skills
● Minimum 5 years' experience in the UK residential property market.
● Demonstrable expertise in valuations, Homebuyer Reports, and Building Surveys.
● Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and professional integrity.
● Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver commercially valuable advice.
● Confident using valuation software and Microsoft Excel.
● Full UK driving licence (this is an essential car user position).
