About the role
Artus Air is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to work closely with the Finance Manager and Logistics team in a cross-functional role that will support both the accounts and purchasing functions, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of 40+ live projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial processes, supplier coordination, inventory purchasing, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key areas of the role will surround:
Finance:
* Process supplier invoices, ensuring approvals and accurate coding
* Prepare domestic and international payment runs
* Reconcile supplier accounts and company credit cards
* Manage AP/AR ledgers, including customer invoicing and payment tracking
* Verify and process staff expenses in line with policy
* Support month-end close: accruals, journals, and ledger adjustments
* Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records
Logistics & Fulfilment:
* Coordinate daily with Sales and Production to monitor order readiness
* Communicate delivery timelines to customers and internal teams
* Oversee third-party logistics and internal transport for efficient execution
* Manage the full fulfilment cycle, resolving issues proactively
* Maintain system updates and customer notes for seamless operations
* Contribute to process improvements across logistics and customer service
* Ensure quality standards and contractual
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, the following experience is required:
* Solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping, including double-entry and month-end close
* Proven experience in logistics, fulfilment, or supply chain within fast-paced environments
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Strong IT literacy skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills across teams and with external partners
* Customer-focused with a professional, problem-solving approach
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Collaborative team player with a hands-on, flexible mindset
