About TPS
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products for servicing and repairing Volkswagen Group vehicles. As part of the Volkswagen Group, TPS includes brands such as Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. TPS operates a national network of TPS Centres with a dedicated workforce and management team committed to creating a motivating and inclusive workplace that values learning and development.
Launched in 2006 as a new brand concept, TPS functions on an Agency Model, where Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.
About the Role
What will you be doing?
* Working with the Sales Manager and team to deliver and achieve the business plan and sales objectives.
* Achieving personal KPIs and revenue targets with target customers.
* Identifying parts to meet customer requirements accurately.
* Utilising product promotions effectively to meet targets.
* Identifying and leveraging potential sales opportunities within the customer base.
* Maintaining product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.
* Building strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits.
* Providing high-level customer service by understanding requirements, responding to requests, progressing orders, and offering expert advice.
* Providing timely communication regarding credit status.
* Supporting the TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and excellent customer service.
* Working with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets and ensure a coordinated approach.
* Handling incoming calls and customer inquiries within KPIs, using the approved greeting.
* Using systems accurately to search and order parts.
* Completing documentation accurately and promptly.
* Managing cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS Guidelines.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
* A self-starter with a proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
* Confident and capable communicator with experience in fast-paced and/or telesales environments.
* Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
* A team player with drive and determination to meet individual and sales targets weekly and monthly.
* Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
* IT literacy, preferably with MS Excel experience.
* A passion for the automotive industry.
