Vehicle Preparation Technician Based in Leamington Spa
1. Basic: Up to £34,000
2. OTE: Up to £40,000
3. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am – 1:00pm (41.5 Hours Per Week)
Our client, a successful and growing automotive retailer, is looking to recruit a New & Used Vehicle Preparation Technician to join their busy workshop in Leamington Spa. What you’ll be doing:
16. Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles to manufacturer standards
17. Completing routine servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
18. Conducting visual inspections of vehicle interiors and exteriors
19. Fitting approved accessories
20. Completing all relevant documentation prior to vehicle handover
21. Road testing vehicles where required
22. Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
What we’re looking for:
23. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or working towards completion)
24. Full UK driving licence
25. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
26. High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
27. Experience gained within a main dealer, independent garage, fast-fit centre, car supermarket or similar environment
