As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Joinery Sprayer / Finisher to join our production team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a key role in delivering premium finishes on bespoke items. The Role As a Joinery Sprayer / Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that all joinery products are spray-finished to the highest standards. You’ll apply a range of finishes and work closely with the wider production team to ensure quality and efficiency throughout the process. Key Responsibilities Prepare joinery items for finishing, including sanding, filling, and priming. Apply a range of finishes including lacquers, stains, varnishes, oils, and paints using spray equipment. Ensure smooth, even application and a high-quality finish across all products. Conduct inspections to ensure all finished items meet company and client standards. Mix and match colours and finishes to specification. Maintain spray equipment and keep work areas clean and organised. Follow all health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Collaborate with joiners and other departments to meet project timelines. Handle and dispose of materials responsibly and in line with environmental policies. Carry out any additional duties required to support production goals. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in spray finishing within a joinery or woodworking environment. Proficient in using HVLP and other spray systems. Strong knowledge of wood finishing products and surface preparation techniques. Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot and correct defects. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Strong time management and organisational skills. Good manual dexterity and physical fitness. Desirable Experience working on high-end bespoke joinery projects. Awareness of sustainable finishing practices.
