Role & Responsibilities
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide individualised support to a child in an Early Years setting. You will work closely with the classroom teacher to develop and implement learning plans, and create a positive and engaging learning experience for the child. You will help the child to reach their full potential.
Main tasks include
Delivering individualised learning support to a child with SEN.
Collaborating with the teacher to develop and implement learning plans.
Creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Monitoring and documenting the child's progress.
Communicating regularly with parents/carers.
Requirements
Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification.
Proven experience supporting children with SEN.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Experience working in an Early Years setting.
