Job Title: D365 F&O Business Analyst (Operations and Logistics) Location: London (3 days a week on site) Sector: Retail / Commerce Contract Length: 6 month minimum Rate: £400 - £450 a day outside IR35 Role Overview:We are seeking a contract D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Business Analyst with strong expertise in operations and logistics to support a leading retail end-user through a key phase of their ERP transformation. This role will focus on optimising supply chain, warehousing, and logistics processes using D365 F&O, ensuring seamless integration with retail operations and customer fulfilment. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for operations and logistics-related D365 F&O functionality. Lead workshops to gather and document requirements across supply chain, warehousing, and distribution functions. Configure and support D365 F&O modules including: Warehouse Management (WMS) Inventory Management Transportation Management Sales and Distribution Master Planning Demand Forecasting Analyse and improve operational processes such as order fulfilment, stock replenishment, and returns management. Support solution design, testing, training, and go-live activities. Ensure data integrity and alignment across logistics and retail operations. Provide post-implementation support and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O projects. Strong understanding of retail logistics, warehouse operations, and supply chain execution. Hands-on experience with relevant D365 F&O SCM modules. Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and system configurations. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
