Role Relationships:
The IT Analyst will report to the Head of Application Development/Architecture. Key Stakeholders the role will interact with:
* Operations team
* Information Technology Team
Role Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of applications using C# and SQL and Python.
* Support the design and delivery of cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver incremental value.
* Assist in translating business requirements, particularly within Asset Management and Private Credit, into technical specifications.
* Engage in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
* Learn and adopt best practices in software engineering, security, and performance optimisation.

Person Specification
Work Experience and Qualifications
* Master's degree in computer science (or a closely related field).
* +2 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally within financial services.
* Exposure to or experience with:
o C#
o Python
o SQL
o Azure cloud services
o Agile delivery environments
* Understanding of core engineering principles such as version control, testing, and CI/CD.
Key Qualities
* Experience supporting systems used in Asset Management or Private Credit.
* Familiarity with API development, microservices, or event driven patterns.
* Exposure to Azure DevOps or similar tooling.
* Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn from senior engineers.
* Curious, proactive, and eager to grow technical and domain expertise.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non‑technical colleagues.
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities.
