About us:
Steris is a technological leader in the design, production, and supply of sterilization equipment and monitoring systems.
We are recruiting for a Senior Manager - FP&A to join our team. This role reports to the EMEA Head of Business Finance and provides financial planning and analysis to support profit and productivity improvements in the HC business in the country.
Responsibilities include:
* Consolidation and preparation of monthly business reviews, forecasts, and quarterly reviews for all functional areas.
* Analyzing revenue, profit margins, and Opex monthly, quarterly, and annually.
* Enhancing financial forecasting and budgeting processes, owning the P&L, and establishing proactive forecasting.
* Developing and maintaining management reports, supporting business reviews, and monitoring sales, orders, backlog, profit, and cash.
* Leading strategic planning, ad-hoc financial analysis, and full P&L ownership.
* Reviewing sales and marketing costs, overheads, and administrative expenses.
* Managing annual strategic planning and budgeting processes.
* Partnering with commercial teams to achieve sales objectives.
* Improving data accuracy and reporting around product lines, pricing, sales, and COGS.
* Supporting capital expenditure requests and managing sales commissions and rewards.
Financial and Internal Controls:
* Supporting financial close processes and SOX reporting.
* Ensuring revenue recognition compliance.
Other Responsibilities:
* Building key relationships for strategic planning and analysis.
* Expertise in Longview, Cognos, Tableau, and Oracle applications.
* Extracting financial data and managing working capital reporting.
Long-term strategic focus:
* Partnering with corporate teams on reporting and process improvements.
* Identifying opportunities for restructuring and profit improvement.
Experience & Skills:
* 5-7 years in FPA management, preferably in manufacturing or medical devices.
* Experience managing finance professionals and processes.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.
* Proficiency in Excel, Cognos, Tableau, Longview, PowerPoint.
