Imperial Recruitment Group is proud to be working in partnership with INEOS, a global manufacturer with a strong presence in the Northeast, to recruit a Management Accountant for their Newton Aycliffe site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant to join a high-performing finance team within a world-leading organisation. The role offers broad exposure across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead month-end close including journals, revaluations, accruals, and inventory processes
* Maintain intercompany accounts and support group consolidation reporting (Hyperion Financial Management)
* Manage fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure tracking
* Produce accurate balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
* Assist with daily cash flow, forecasting, and treasury reporting
* Review product costing and support procurement with variance analysis
* Report on fixed costs and support forecasting and budget processes
* Support year-end audits and statutory reporting
* Ensure timely and accurate compliance submissions (VAT, ONS, Intrastat)
* Provide support for transactional finance activities as needed
What We’re Looking For:
* Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
* Minimum 3 years’ finance experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
* Strong ERP and Microsoft Excel skills
* High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking
* Effective communicator, confident working with cross-functional teams
* German language skills are a bonus but not required
