Job Title: Public Health Analyst
The Public Health Analyst will be responsible for producing a range of reports for the Public Health team. They will support the team in preparing statistics, charts, and reports, and actively disseminate findings to a wide audience. The role involves turning data into intelligence and providing input and advice on understanding public health data, as well as supporting the dissemination of intelligence findings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Undertake data analysis, interpret results, and report findings, ensuring data is clearly, appropriately, and accurately presented, with considerations for data quality and assumptions noted.
2. Maintain an understanding of data sources relevant to public health, epidemiology, and statistics, and stay updated on the availability and quality of national and local datasets and statistics.
3. Contribute to the development of products and services offered by the Croydon Public Health Intelligence Team.
4. Utilize expert skills in Excel and experience in report development using Microsoft Power BI.
5. Apply project management and business analysis skills to deliver projects within agreed timescales.
6. Develop innovative reports that facilitate easy access to data.
