1. £12.31 per hour
2. Location: Lurgan Hospital Estates
3. Monday to Friday - 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
4. 37.5 hours per week
5. Temporary until 30/03/2026
What you'll need for this role:
6. Assist with the collation of financial information e.g., annual maintenance costs for non-medical equipment. Liaise with suppliers regarding life expectancy and value of equipment/parts.
7. Assign, print and post asset labels for non-medical equipment Trustwide. On occasions, deliver as required.
8. Operate Micad (or other Estates system) and the BSTP finance system (or similar) for the receipt and processing of invoices for payment for requisitions, ensuring accuracy.
9. Keep track of all Equipment Controller training declarations, and produce information as to how many staff have been trained, when and from which directorates. (This info will be used at each Medical Devices and Equipment Management Group meeting). Keep the Trust Equipment Controllers List up to date.
10. Liaise with Ward Managers/Heads of Department/Equipment controllers on a regular basis, confirming up to date lists of equipment, location of equipment, breaches in service dates etc.
11. Liaise with Ward Managers/Heads of Departments/Equipment Controllers to identify type and age of equipment, recording maintenance requirements.
What you'll need for this role:
12. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel, or equivalent.
13. 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English Language and Maths or equivalent/higher qualification AND 1 years’ experience in a clerical/administrative role. OR,
14. 2 years’ experience in a clerical/administrative role.
15. Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
16. (This criterion will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.)
