SEWS—Canada Customer Service Center, Bolton, ON
BASIC PURPOSE:
* Support quality/workability concerns reported by customers.
* Containment action for non-conforming parts with WH trial part inspection at CCSC1/HCM.
* Support minor model launch of 25M Civic.
* Assist with preparation related to the 27.5M major model CRV.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist warehouse and sorting/rework operations as needed. Oversee completion of sort standards for responsible products. Participate in rework meetings and complete ISO/IATF documentation for QA activities at the warehouse.
* Assist warehouse operations for abnormal conditions such as damaged shipments, wet containers, and warehouse accidents. Collaborate with QA Engineers, Logistics, 3PL, and Delivery teams to ensure no impact on customer shipments and quarantine defective parts for proper disposition.
* Monitor and update sorting logs with QA lead hands. Summarize monthly costs and submit reports to the accounting department for budget reconciliation.
* Track suspect and certified materials reported by the plant, including design changes. Support delivery/logistics with container delays and FIFO concerns to ensure smooth operations.
* Assist QA Engineers with project documentation and inspection of prototype parts to ensure quality and compliance with drawings. Support PFS activities with SEWS Canada QA/DE/LP teams.
* Handle invoices related to temp agencies and courier services. Arrange QA shipments and perform administrative tasks.
* Ensure safety protocols are followed in the warehouse, including compliance by temporary associates. Support safety standard development and implementation.
* Monitor customer quality concerns and assist with feedback to manufacturing plants.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support CCSC1, MBU, and overall SEWS Canada business.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* High School Diploma or GED and technical certification; 5-7 years of progressive engineering experience.
* 0-5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in quality assurance.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in desktop applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Strong task management and organizational skills.
