Job Title: EMEA Credit & Collections Manager
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid: 2 days in-office)
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced EMEA Credit & Collections Manager to lead our
regional Credit & Collections function within Finance Business Services.
This is a key leadership role responsible for protecting cash flow and working capital across an assigned EMEA portfolio. You will set the strategy, governance and performance standards to ensure strong cash collection, effective credit risk management, and consistent, fair customer treatment across multiple countries and entities.
Reporting to the OTC Tower Lead, you will directly manage the EMEA Credit & Collections Team Leader, retaining full accountability for regional performance while working closely with Sales, Billing, Operations, Cash Application and Query Resolution teams to reduce overdue debt, prevent revenue leakage and drive sustainable process improvements.
This role combines operational leadership, credit risk governance, stakeholder partnering and transformation within a global OTC structure.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop the EMEA Credit & Collections Team Leader, ensuring strong delivery against KPIs and targets
2. Own regional cash performance, DSO, ageing profile and dispute/query cycle time
3. Define and embed an aged debt strategy (30/60/90/120+) to reduce overdue balances and bad debt
4. Oversee credit risk governance including credit limits, terms, exposure monitoring and approvals
5. Manage extended payment terms and ensure strong documentation and review controls
6. Act as senior escalation point for complex or high-risk accounts, including payment plans and legal escalation where required
7. Partner with Billing, Operations and Query Resolution teams to address root causes of overdue debt
8. Work closely with Cash Application to resolve unallocated cash and short payments
9. Coordinate late-stage debt strategy and Debt Collection Agency (DCA) referrals, ensuring compliance and audit readiness
10. Deliver month-end and year-end collections reporting, aged debt commentary and risk assessment
11. Maintain strong compliance, control and audit documentation across EMEA
12. Support ERP and OTC transformation initiatives as the EMEA Credit & Collections SME
13. Drive standardisation, automation and continuous improvement across collections processes
To Be Successful in the Role, You Will Have:
14. 5–7+ years’ experience in Credit & Collections Management within an EMEA or global environment
15. Strong experience managing multi-country ledgers across multiple currencies
16. Proven track record of delivering KPIs including DSO, overdue reduction and cash forecasting
17. Experience in credit risk assessment, policy governance and financial review
18. Strong stakeholder management skills across Sales, Operations, Finance and Legal
19. Experience identifying trends in aged debt and implementing sustainable process improvements
20. Good Excel capability (including pivots and formulas)
21. Working knowledge of financial systems (SAP experience desirable)
22. Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
23. Strong analytical, resilient and customer-focused leadership approach
