Job Title: History Teacher Location: Sheffield (S5, S9) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Do you enjoy teaching history and helping students understand the past while developing critical thinking skills? GSL Education are looking for a knowledgeable History Teacher to work with schools in Sheffield, including the S5 and S9 areas, delivering engaging lessons that bring historical events and perspectives to life. As a History Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that help students explore different historical periods, analyse sources, and develop a deeper understanding of how the past has shaped the present. Main Responsibilities: Deliver engaging History lessons in line with the national curriculum. Encourage critical thinking and discussion about historical events and perspectives. Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Support students in developing research and analytical skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a History Teacher in a school setting. Strong communication and classroom management skills. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
