Job Description
Our leading client, based in Castle Donington, are looking for a Parts Person to join their team on a part time basis. Our client is looking for someone enthusiastic and proactive who can work on their own initiative. You must be happy speaking to customers over phone and email.
Permanent role.
Monday to Friday, 4 or 5 hours a day (20-25 hours a week).
£13 per hour + annual profit related bonus (pro rata).
Parts Person – The Role:
1. Receiving orders and providing quotations
2. Assisting customers with parts selection
3. Picking and packing and preparation of goods
4. Timely and accurate dispatch of goods
5. Raising delivery notes and invoices
6. Using the computerised stock system
7. General stores duties and inventory management
Parts Person – The Candidate:
8. Good communication skills, both verbal and written
9. A knowledge of stock systems and basic Excel skills
10. Experience in Engineering products beneficial but not essential
11. FLT experience beneficial but not essential, company will provide training if not.
12. Good telephone manner
13. Good practical skills
14. Happy to work some overtime if needed.
15. Some heavy lifting is involved.
