Are you an experienced School Administrator/Receptionist looking for a new opportunity in Birmingham?

Winner Education are working closely with a school in South Birmingham, assisting them with the recruitment of a Receptionist/Administrator. The role is full time, up to 37.5 hours a week 8am-4pm. This will be an on-going, long term temporary position initially. You will be required to start ASAP and have a valid and current DBS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support with a busy school office area
Provide general admin duties
Update management information system
Postal duties
Manage accurate records of pupils
Answer telephone and face to face enquiries
Deal with visitor ID checks, including DBS checks

The Successful Receptionist/Administrator will:

Have previous school administration experience
Be highly motivated, professional and forward thinking
Display strong organisational abilities and skills
Have previous knowledge of school administration software systems such as SIMS, ParentPay or Arbor
Have proficient computer skills
Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
Be able to form positive relationships with all staff and parents
Need to be flexible in working across the whole school
