Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Pharmacist to join our Inpatient Pharmacy team at the Harbour Inpatient Unit. The successful candidate will establish and develop a clinical model of working as a senior level clinician and Non-Medical Prescriber at the Harbour, a 154-bedded mental health hospital situated on the Fylde coast. This role involves ensuring appropriate medicines optimisation across the patient pathway, providing expert advice on prescribing for complex cases, and creating new models for delivering patient care.

Person Specification
Education (Essential):
* Masters degree in Pharmacy
* Pharmacist registration with General Pharmaceutical Council
* Postgraduate diploma or equivalent including MA/MSc
* Evidence of and commitment to continuing professional development
Knowledge (Essential):
* Expert clinical knowledge relevant to mental health
* Able to identify a vision for the delivery of an advanced clinical pharmacy service
* Able to apply advanced levels of clinical reasoning and judgement to influence how medicines are used
* Be able to manage difficult and ambiguous problems
Experience (Essential):
* Extensive experience of providing pharmaceutical care to patients with acute mental health needs
* Experience of practice research or audit
* Able to demonstrate prioritisation and time management skills
