Electrical Contracts Manager Location: Stanstead Abbotts Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 DOE Company Vehicle / Allowance Benefits About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee our EICR programmes within social housing across multiple contracts. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from tender through to completion, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest compliance standards. Key Responsibilities * Manage and deliver EICR testing, remedial, and upgrade programmes across social housing portfolios. * Oversee multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring delivery within time, budget, and quality parameters. * Supervise site teams and subcontractors, promoting best practice in health, safety, and compliance. * Ensure all works comply with BS7671, NICEIC standards, and relevant social housing compliance frameworks. * Liaise with clients, residents, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain excellent working relationships and customer satisfaction. * Monitor budgets, progress reports, and quality audits, producing regular management updates. * Identify opportunities for service improvement, cost efficiencies, and process optimisation. Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Supervisor within the social housing or similar sector. * Demonstrable experience managing EICR testing and remedial programmes. * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation. * 18th Edition qualified (2391 or equivalent testing & inspection qualification desirable). * Excellent knowledge of electrical compliance, BS7671, and health & safety regulations. * Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and teams.
