Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Phlebotomy team working across South West Essex covering Community Hospital clinics and domiciliary visits to house bound patients. You will be based at Thurrock CDC.
We are looking to recruit a Phlebotomist to work in this busy fast paced service and require a keen and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team. You will work alongside experienced Phlebotomists and the Phlebotomy Manager delivering quality care to patients.
Responsibilities
* Deliver quality phlebotomy care to patients across Community Hospital clinics and domiciliary visits.
* Collaborate with the Phlebotomy team and Phlebotomy Manager to maintain high standards of care.
* Support a busy fast paced service and contribute to a patient centered culture.
Qualifications and Skills
* Venepuncture qualification.
* Flexible, good team worker, able to work under pressure.
* Excellent interpersonal and IT skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers and other team members.

* Probationary period applies to this post (internal applicants may be exempt).
* High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary (minimum £1,303; max £2,198 per annum, pro rata for part time).
