Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to help scale our platform's adoption across the built environment sector. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client partnerships, and promoting the Strategic Resourcing platform as the modern solution to an outdated recruitment model.
This role is perfect for someone already embedded in the construction, infrastructure or professional services space, who wants to bring a smarter, tech-enabled recruitment model to their network.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business growth by leveraging your existing relationships within the built environment.
* Promote Strategic Resourcing’s platform as a time-saving, value-driven alternative to traditional recruitment.
* Understand client hiring challenges and demonstrate how our 4-step platform addresses inefficiencies.
* Attend industry networking events, client meetings, and regional forums to promote Strategic Resourcing’s offering.
* Collaborate with internal marketing and strategy teams to shape outreach campaigns and client journeys.
* Onboard new clients and guide them through platform setup, vacancy listings, and preferred supplier integrations.
* Regularly gather client feedback to support platform evolution and service excellence.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within recruitment, construction, infrastructure, or built environment sectors.
* Strong network of contacts within Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors and consultants,
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Comfortable using CRM systems and digital platforms.
* Strategic thinker with a hands-on, energetic approach to growth.
